Testing

Megaworks firmly believes that quality entails complete alignment and adherence to customer specifications and global standards. To uphold this commitment, Megaworks has outfitted its testing laboratory with state-of-the-art equipment and instrumentation, ensuring adherence to the utmost standards of quality and safety. Each transformer manufactured by Megaworks undergoes rigorous testing in accordance with IEC and/or requested Standards.

Routine Tests

1- Measurement of winding resistance

2- Measurement of voltage ratio and phase displacement

3- Measurement of short circuit impedance and load losses

4- Measurement of no-load losses and current

5- Dielectric routine tests(separate source AC voltage withstand test and short duration inducedover-voltage withstand test)

6- Measurement of insulation resistance

Type Tests

1- Temperature rise test according to IEC 60076-2

2- Lighting impulse test according to IEC 60076-3
